Sidur

SIDUR steel grades have been specifically developed for applications in demanding environments which require high resistance to wear.

Characterised by excellent hardness, strength and toughness at low temperatures, SIDUR products guarantee low deformation levels even during impact loading.

INDUSTRIES:

-          mining

-          construction equipment

-          forestry

-          material processing, agriculture and transport of hard minerals and other abrasive materials

GRADES AND APPLICATIONS

SIDUR steel grades are characterised by enhanced wear resistance and high toughness at low temperatures. They are used primarily in the production of bulldozers and dumpers, industrial transportation vehicles, trucks, machinery and mineral extraction (mining), and metal processing tools – blades and knives, gears, bearings, loaders, buckets, pipe systems for muddy water etc.

ADVANTAGES OF SIDUR STEELS

Increased abrasion resistance

Guaranteed through thickness hardness

Longer product lifespan

The characteristics of SIDUR steel are very good weldability, formability and machinability.

TREATMENT

SIDUR steel is not subsequently heat-treated.

QUALITY

Constant development, improvement of processes and materials, as well as a quality assurance system in accordance with ISO 9001, environmental management systems in accordance with ISO 14001 and occupational health and safety management systems in accordance with OHSAS 18001, are our guarantee for a constant quality level.

SIDUR 300 is a steel in hardness range 260–340 HB, supplied as quarto plates in as rolled condition. It has good wear resistance and stable mechanical properties.

SIDUR 400 heavy plates are produced in the hardness range of 360–440HB. The unique combination of mechanical properties and chemical composition improves bending, welding, machining properties, and deformability.

SIDUR 450 heavy plates are produced in the hardness range of 420–470 HB. The unique combination of mechanical properties and chemical composition improves bending, welding, machining properties, and deformability.

SIDUR 500 heavy plates are produced in the hardness range of 460–540HB. The unique combination of mechanical properties and chemical composition improves bending, welding, machining properties, and deformability.

SIDUR 550 is a high-strength fine-grained wear resistant steel. It is intended for use in components that require high resistance to abrasive sliding wear.

SIDUR 600 is a high-strength fine-grained wear resistant steel. It is intended for use in components that require high resistance to abrasive sliding wear.

SIDUR 3401 is a non-magnetic abrasion-resistant steel well known for its high impact strength and abrasion resistance. It is not resistant to corrosion. When in a work-hardened state, it achieves up to 600 HB.
