The SIDUR steel group is characterised by enhanced wear resistance and low temperature toughness;

 

SIDUR steel is therefore used primarily in the production of bulldozers and dumpers, industrial transportation vehicles, trucks, machinery and mineral extraction (mining), and metal processing tools – blades and knives, gears, bearings, loaders, buckets, pipe systems for muddy water, etc.

SIDUR DATASHEETS

SIDUR 400 heavy plates are produced in hardness range 360–440HB. The unique combination of mechanical properties and chemical composition improves bending, welding, machining properties and deformability.

SIDUR 3401 is a non-magnetic abrasion resistant steel well known for its high impact strength and abrasion resistance. It is not resistant to corrosion. When in work-hardened state, it achieves up to 600 HB.
